Homecoming: The Alumni Show and Other Works celebrates the vibrant talent emerging from our three distinct residencies: Blue Roof Residency, Chapter 2, and Firefly. Curated by the visionary Frida Cano, this exhibition offers a rich tapestry of contemporary art, showcasing the diverse achievements of artists who have thrived within our programs.

The featured works underscore the enduring impact of the residency experience on artistic practice. We are proud to present pieces from an incredible roster of alumni: Brenda Gonzalez, Carole Kim, Chen Cohen, Clarisse Abelarde, Connie Martin Trevino, Daisy Velasco, Devi Vallabhaneni, Diane Briones Williams, Dominique Moody, Jacqueline Valenzuela, and Mary Anna Pomonis.

Through painting, sculpture, installation, and new media, these artists reflect on their journeys, demonstrating the continuous evolution of their craft since their residency. "Homecoming" is not only a look back at formative experiences but a powerful affirmation of the vital, ongoing conversation between the artists and the community that supported them.
